After six years, D-Block & S-te-Fan close the curtain on their live project Ghost Stories. Together with vocalist Evelyn Bakker, their final track Felt The Ghost marks an emotional farewell to one of hardstyle’s most ambitious concepts.

The End of an Era

On November 8, the duo celebrated “20 Years of D-Block & S-te-Fan” at The Dome in Haaren — a ten-hour daytime event hosted with REBiRTH Events. Under the theme “The Sound of the Past and the Power of the Future,” the show reflected on two decades of their career while delivering the final Ghost Stories performance.

From Reverze 2019 to the Final Farewell

Ghost Stories first appeared at Reverze 2019, introducing a new dimension to hardstyle performance — cinematic storytelling, vocal-driven tracks and immersive live shows.

The project, created by Diederik Bakker, Stefan den Daas and Evelyn Bakker, went on to release anthems such as Darkest Hour, Angels & Demons, Twilight Zone and Promised Land — collectively surpassing 130 million streams.

In previous interviews, the trio described Ghost Stories as a natural evolution of Angels & Demons, aiming to create something “never seen before at a hardstyle event.”

Their final appearance turned The Dome into a visual spectacle of lasers, pyrotechnics, and cinematic design — a fitting farewell to one of the genre’s most visionary live acts.

D-Block & S-te-Fan thanked their fans, calling the night “indescribable” and “beyond what we ever dreamed.”

With Felt The Ghost, the trio concluded a six-year journey that merged emotion, performance, and hardstyle energy — leaving behind a project that proved storytelling still has a place in the rave.
