Berlin-based producer and DJ A.D.H.S has been making waves in the techno scene with his hypnotic sets and forward-thinking productions. Known for blending intense acid lines with modern techno grooves, he continues to push the boundaries of the dancefloor.
From Hip‑Hop Beginnings to Berlin’s Underground
Michael Groß didn’t start out dreaming of rave floors. Growing up in southern Germany, he first cut his teeth as a hip‑hop DJ in his school days, building his skills behind the decks and immersing himself in the nightlife. A pivotal moment shifted his path toward electronic music, eventually leading him to Berlin in 2015 — the city that would become central to his artistic identity.
Once in Berlin, A.D.H.S quickly embedded himself in the scene, joining collectives and playing underground parties before evolving into a producer with releases on respected labels such as Terminal M, Electric Ballroom and Drumcode. His tracks have become trusted tools for major players like Adam Beyer, Amelie Lens, Monika Kruse and FJAAK, carving his name into the larger techno conversation.
Confused Acid: A New Acid Techno Weapon
On his latest release, Confused Acid, A.D.H.S leans deep into acid techno territory. Channeling squelchy 303 lines and pointed percussion, the track balances tension and dancefloor urgency with a clarity that feels both classic and forward‑thinking. Oscillating between hypnotic builds and club‑ready breaks, Confused Acid taps into the visceral, repetitive energy that makes acid techno so magnetic — while still showcasing his knack for structuring a groove that grips from start to finish.
Because of his established footprint in the techno world and his evolving sonic palette, this track feels like both a nod to the acid lineage and a statement of where A.D.H.S is headed next — reinforcing his role as a producer who thrives where analog grit meets modern club intensity.
